The company first operated in 1977, based in Limassol, producing scaffolding, cutting and bending machines for construction steel rods, almonds, peanuts, raisins, pistachios, beans, and other numerous pioneering inventions and constructions that covered the needs of both the construction and agricultural sectors.

With over forty-seven years of experience in the construction industry, CHR. KONTOS ENTERPRISES LTD specializes in the design and construction of formwork and molds. It imports products from leading companies and serves as the exclusive representative for KAUFFMAN and SVEZA wood companies.

Innovating in scaffolding for buildings up to 200m in height, the company provides design and construction of building formwork and scaffolding, such as Ring lock systems. It is the first Cypriot company with galvanized scaffolding.

The company offers painted scaffolding, internally and externally coated with green, environmentally friendly, non-flammable water-based paint containing zinc phosphate. Specifically designed for outdoor use, these scaffolds are resistant to all weather conditions, meeting Cypriot standards with safety hooks on the upper and lower ends.

All products are manufactured under strict quality standards and with modern machinery. They are the only Cypriot scaffoldings that meet all European standards and are certified by Bureau Veritas.

In addition to its own production, the company imports products from renowned foreign companies, such as KAUFFMAN yellow wood, known globally as the best, and white Austrian wood from KAUFFMAN, dried in an oven to withstand adverse weather conditions.

CHR. KONTOS ENTERPRISES LTD is also the representative of SVEZA, the largest Russian factory producing the best quality concrete shuttering plywood and film face plywood.

The company produces galvanized mesh and fencing frames, offering aluminum molds made from the strong Aluminum 6061-T6 alloy. They are painted with yellow electrostatic paint baked at 350 degrees to prevent concrete from sticking to the panel frame.

Another product is cardboard columns with zippers, made from recyclable waterproof cardboard, making them completely waterproof and suitable for all weather conditions. They have a smooth internal lining for a polished finish.

The company also manufactures custom aerial material platforms, and through its KCN SCAFFOLDING RENTALS service, it provides scaffolding rental services, including assembly and disassembly.

After forty-seven years of operation, the company has expanded across Cyprus with two manufacturing facilities in Limassol and Paphos, five stores in Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, Frenaros, and recently in Larnaca. Its facilities cover 15,000 square meters nationwide.

One of the company’s significant moments was its expansion to Lebanon, with a vast production facility and a wide range of products to meet the demand of Arab countries.
